Biography
Anthony Minghella (* January 6, 1954 in Ryde; † March 18, 2008 in Hammersmith) was a british film director, playwright and screenwriter. He was 54 years old. His education included University of Hull, St John's College and Sandown Bay Academy. He received 6 awards, including Laurence Olivier Awards, Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directing – Feature Film. His cause of death was lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
