Biography of Archibald MacLeish

Archibald MacLeish (* 7. May 1892 in Glencoe; † 20. April 1982 in Boston) was an uS-amerikanischer Schriftsteller, Bibliothekar. He was 89 years old. He was married to Ada MacLeish. His education included Yale University, Harvard Law School and Hotchkiss School. He worked at Harvard University, Library of Congress and Amherst College. He received 9 awards, including Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rome Prize. He was buried at Pine Grove Cemetery.
