Biography of Armand Borel

Armand Borel (* 21. May 1923 in La Chaux-de-Fonds; † 11. August 2003 in Princeton) was a schweizer Mathematiker. He was 80 years old. His education included ETH Zurich, National Center for Scientific Research and University of Paris. He worked at Institute for Advanced Study, ETH Zurich and University of Geneva. His awards include Balzan Prize, Brouwer Medal and Leroy P. Steele Prize.
