Arthur M. Schlesinger (* 15. October 1917 in Columbus; † 28. February 2007 in New York City) was an american historian, social critic, and public intellectual. He was 89 years old. He was married to Marian Cannon Schlesinger. His education included Harvard College, Phillips Exeter Academy, University of Cambridge and Peterhouse. He received 9 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, National Humanities Medal. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
