Biography of Ary Sternfeld

Ary Sternfeld (* 14. May 1905 in Sieradz; † 5. July 1980 in Moscow) was a polnisch-sowjetischer Raumfahrtpionier. He was 75 years old. He studied at École nationale supérieure d'électricité et de mécanique. He worked at Reactive Scientific Research Institute. His awards include Honoured Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR and doctor honoris causa from the University of Nancy. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
