Biography of Asima Chatterjee

Asima Chatterjee (* 23. September 1917 in Kolkata; † 22. November 2006 in Kolkata) was an indian chemist. She was 89 years old. Her education included University of Calcutta, Lady Brabourne College, Scottish Church College and University College of Science, Technology & Agriculture. Her faith was Hinduism. Her awards include Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology and Padma Bhushan in science & engineering.
