Biography of Athanasios Kambylis

Athanasios Kambylis (* 9. January 1928 in Trikala; † 20. September 2021) was a griechischer Byzantinist und Neogräzist. He was 93 years old. He worked at University of Hamburg, Freie Universität Berlin and National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He was awarded the honorary doctor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
