Biography of Aubrey Land

Aubrey Land (* 2. September 1912 in Panola County; † 14. January 1993 in Athens) was a professor of history. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Iowa and Southern Illinois University. He worked at Carnegie Institute of Technology, Vanderbilt University, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Maryland and University of Georgia. His awards include Fulbright Scholarship and Guggenheim Fellowship.
