Biography of Audre Lorde

Audre Lorde (* 18. February 1934 in New York City; † 17. November 1992 in Saint Croix) was an uS-amerikanische Schriftstellerin und Aktivistin. She was 58 years old. Her education included Columbia University, Hunter College, Hunter College High School, National Autonomous University of Mexico and Columbia University School of Library Service. She worked at John F. Kennedy-Institut, Lehman College, Tougaloo College and Hunter College. Her awards include Lambda Literary Award and American Book Awards. Her cause of death was breast cancer.
