Biography of August Maus

August Maus (* 7. February 1915 in Wuppertal; † 28. September 1996 in Hamburg) was a deutscher Marineoffizier und U-Bootkommandant im 2. Weltkrieg. He was 81 years old. He studied at Naval Academy at Mürwik. He received 7 awards, including Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, Spanish Cross. His cause of death was airstrike.
