Ba Jin (* 25. November 1904 in Chengdu; † 17. October 2005 in Shanghai) was a chinese novelist and anarchist activist. He was 100 years old. He was married to Xiao Shan. His education included Sichuan University and High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University. His faith was atheism. He received 4 awards, including Commander of the Legion of Honour, Order of Friendship of Peoples. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease.
