Biography of Barbara Castle

Barbara Castle (* 6. October 1910 in Chesterfield; † 3. May 2002 in Chiltern) was a british politician. She was 91 years old. She was married to Edward Castle, Baron Castle. Her education included St Hugh's College and Bradford Girls' Grammar School. Her awards include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and honorary doctorate.
