Biography of Barbara Jean Burns

Barbara Jean Burns (* 9. November 1941 in Washington, D.C.; † 28. January 2024) was a psychiatrist, mental health services researcher, and educator. She was 82 years old. Her education included Jackson-Reed High School, University of Kentucky, Columbia University and Boston College. She worked at Duke University, Harvard University, National Institute of Mental Health and Johns Hopkins University.
