Biography of Benjamin Peirce

Benjamin Peirce (* 4. April 1809 in Salem; † 6. October 1880 in Cambridge) was an uS-amerikanischer Mathematiker und Astronom. He was 71 years old. He was married to Sarah Hunt Mills. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). His education included Harvard University and Salem High School. He worked at Harvard University and Round Hill School. His awards include Foreign Member of the Royal Society and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He was buried at Cambridge Cemetery.
