Biography of Bernhard Dorn

Bernhard Dorn (* 29. April 1805 in Scheuerfeld; † 19. May 1881 in Saint Petersburg) was a deutsch-russischer Orientalist. He was 76 years old. He studied at Leipzig University. He worked at Saint Petersburg State University and National Library of Russia. He received 4 awards, including Order of Saint Anna, 1st class, Order of the White Eagle. He was buried at Smolensky Lutheran Cemetery.
