Bert Jansch (* 3. November 1943 in Glasgow; † 5. October 2011 in Hampstead) was a scottish folk musician. He was 67 years old. He was married to Heather Jansch. He studied at Ainslie Park High School. His awards include BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, MOJO Awards and honorary doctor of the Edinburgh Napier University. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Highgate Cemetery.
