Biography of Bessie Smith

Bessie Smith (* 15. April 1894 in Chattanooga; † 26. September 1937 in Clarksdale) was an uS-amerikanische Bluessängerin. She was 43 years old. Her awards include Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, National Women's Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her cause of death was traffic collision. She was buried at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
