Biography of Bjarni Jónsson

Bjarni Jónsson (* 15. February 1920 in Iceland; † 30. September 2016 in Cincinnati) was an isländischer Mathematiker. He was 96 years old. He studied at University of California, Berkeley. He worked at Vanderbilt University and University of Minnesota. His awards include Tarski Lectures and Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
