Biography of Boris Trakhtenbrot

Boris Trakhtenbrot (* 20. February 1921 in Briceva; † 19. September 2016 in Rehovot) was an israelischer Informatiker. He was 95 years old. His education included Ion Creangă Pedagogical State University, Chernivtsi University and Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He worked at Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS, Tel Aviv University, Penza Pedagogical Institute named after V. G. Belinsky and Novosibirsk State University. He was awarded the EATCS award.
