Bronisław Geremek (* 6. March 1932 in Warsaw; † 13. July 2008 in Lubień, Greater Poland Voivodeship) was a polish social historian and politician. He was 76 years old. He was married to Hanna Geremek. His education included University of Warsaw and École pratique des hautes études. He received 10 awards, including Charlemagne Prize, Officer of the Legion of Honour. His cause of death was traffic collision. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
