Biography of Bruno Walter

Bruno Walter (* 15. September 1876 in Berlin; † 17. February 1962 in Beverly Hills) was a deutsch-österreichischer Dirigent, Pianist und Komponist. He was 85 years old. He was married to Elsa Korneck. His education included Stern Conservatory and Berlin University of the Arts. He worked at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He received 5 awards, including Ring of Honour of the City of Vienna, Royal Philharmonic Society Gold Medal. He was buried at Sant'Abbondio Cemetery in Gentilino.
