Biography of C. Vann Woodward

C. Vann Woodward (* 13. November 1908 in Vanndale; † 17. December 1999 in Hamden) was an uS-amerikanischer Neuzeithistoriker. He was 91 years old. His education included Emory University, Columbia University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Henderson State University and Morrilton High School. He worked at Johns Hopkins University, Yale University and Georgia Tech. He received 8 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Lillian Smith Book Award.
