Biography of Camillo Golgi

Camillo Golgi (* 7. July 1843 in Corteno Golgi; † 21. January 1926 in Pavia) was an italienischer Mediziner und Physiologe. He was 82 years old. His education included Ugo Foscolo - Pavia and University of Pavia. He worked at University of Siena and University of Pavia. His awards include Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order and doctor honoris causa from the University of Paris. He was buried at monumental cemetery of Pavia.
