Carl Sagan (* 9. November 1934 in Brooklyn; † 20. December 1996 in Seattle) was an american astrophysicist, cosmologist and author. He was 62 years old. He was married to Linda Salzman Sagan. His education included University of Chicago and Rahway High School. His faith was agnosticism. He received 10 awards, including Solstice Award, Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Lake View Cemetery.
