Biography of Carl Toms

Carl Toms (* 29. May 1927 in Nottinghamshire; † 4. August 1999 in Hertfordshire) was a british scenic designer. He was 72 years old. His education included Royal College of Art and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His awards include Laurence Olivier Awards, Officer of the Order of the British Empire and Tony Award for Best Scenic Design. His cause of death was pulmonary emphysema.
