Biography of Carmen Callil

Carmen Callil (* 15. July 1938 in Melbourne; † 17. October 2022 in London) was an australische Verlegerin, Schriftstellerin und Literaturkritikerin. She was 84 years old. Her education included University of Melbourne, Star of the Sea College and Loreto Mandeville Hall. Her awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire and honorary doctorate.
