Biography of Cecil Burney

Cecil Burney (* 15. May 1858 in Saint Saviour; † 5. June 1929 in Upham) was a royal Navy admiral of the fleet. He was 71 years old. He was married to Lucinda Marion Burnett. He had at least 3 children (1 son and 2 daughters). His awards include Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath and Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George. He was buried at Brookwood Cemetery.
