Chaim Weizmann (* 27. November 1874 in Motal; † 9. November 1952 in Rehovot) was an israelischer Politiker, erster Präsident Israels. He was 77 years old. He was married to Vera Weizmann. His education included Pinsk Realschule, Technical University of Darmstadt, University of Freiburg and Technische Universität Berlin. He worked at Weizmann Institute of Science, University of Geneva, Victoria University of Manchester and Israelitische Lehr- und Erziehungsinstitut Pfungstadt. His faith was Judaism. His awards include honorary doctor of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and honorary citizen of Jerusalem.
