Charles Bigot (* 14. September 1840 in Brussels; † 15. April 1893 in Paris) was a french writer, teacher and journalist. He was 52 years old. He was married to Jeanne Mairet. His education included Lycée Louis-le-Grand, École Normale Supérieure and French School at Athens. He was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honour. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
