C. Everett Koop (* 14. October 1916 in Brooklyn; † 25. February 2013 in Hanover) was an american pediatric surgeon and public health administrator. He was 96 years old. His education included Dartmouth College, Cornell University, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Weill Cornell Medicine. His faith was Presbyterianism. He received 10 awards, including Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement, Presidential Medal of Freedom. His cause of death was kidney failure. He was buried at Pine Knoll Cemetery.
