Biography
Charles Mackerras (* November 17, 1925 in Schenectady; † July 14, 2010 in London) was an australian conductor. He was 84 years old. His education included Sydney Conservatorium of Music and University of Sydney. He received 6 awards, including Czech Medal of Merit, Artis Bohemiae Amicis Medal. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden.
