Biography of Chia-Chiao Lin

Chia-Chiao Lin (* 7. July 1916 in Beijing; † 13. January 2013 in Beijing) was a sino-amerikanischer Physiker und Mathematiker. He was 96 years old. His education included Tsinghua University, University of Toronto, California Institute of Technology and Beijing No. 8 High School. He worked at Brown University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University and Florida State University. He received 7 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Timoshenko Medal. His cause of death was heart failure.
