Biography of Christian Matras

Christian Matras (* 7. December 1900 in Viðareiði; † 16. October 1988 in Tórshavn) was a färöischer Linguist und Dichter. He was 87 years old. He studied at University of Copenhagen. He worked at University of Copenhagen and University of the Faroe Islands. He was awarded the Sokneprest Alfred Andersson-Ryssts fond.
