Biography
Christoph Schlingensief (* October 24, 1960 in Oberhausen; † August 21, 2010 in Berlin) was a german theatre and film director, playwright, and performance artist. He was 49 years old. He was married to Aino Laberenz. His awards include Helmut Käutner Prize, Ruhrpreis for Arts and Science and Berliner Bär. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Dorotheenstadt cemetery II.
