Biography of Christopher Sims

Christopher A. Sims (* 21. October 1942 in Washington, D.C.; † 14. March 2026 in Minneapolis) was an american econometrician and macroeconomist (born 1942). He was 83 years old. His education included University of California, Berkeley, Harvard University and Greenwich High School. He received 6 awards, including Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, Fellow of the Econometric Society.
