Biography of Cyril Offord

Cyril Offord (* 9. June 1906 in London; † 4. June 2000 in Oxford) was a britischer Mathematiker. He was 93 years old. His education included Hackney Downs School, St John's College, University of London and University of Cambridge. He worked at St John's College, Bangor University, King's College, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Birkbeck, University of London, London School of Economics and Political Science and Imperial College London. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society and Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
