Daniel Inouye (* 7. September 1924 in Honolulu; † 17. December 2012 in Bethesda) was an united States Senator from Hawaii. He was 88 years old. He was married to Irene Hirano. His education included University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, George Washington University Law School, University of Hawaiʻi System and President William McKinley High School. His faith was Methodism. He received 10 awards, including Medal of Honor, Bronze Star Medal. His cause of death was respiratory failure. He was buried at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
