Biography of Daniil Dondurey

Daniil Dondurey (* 19. May 1947 in Ulyanovsk; † 10. May 2017 in Israel) was a russian film critic and sociologist. He was 69 years old. His education included Penza Art School, Repin Institute of Arts and Institute of Sociology. He worked at Iskusstvo Kino (Art of Cinema), State Institute for Art Studies and Russian Institute for Cultural Research. His awards include Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of mass media and Nika Award. His cause of death was brain cancer.
