David Foster Wallace (* 21. February 1962 in Ithaca; † 12. September 2008 in Claremont) was an american fiction writer and essayist. He was 46 years old. His education included Urbana High School, Amherst College, University of Arizona and Harvard University. His awards include MacArthur Fellows Program, Lannan Literary Awards and Whiting Awards. His cause of death was hanging to death.
