Biography of David Gendelev

David Gendelev (* 15. December 1920 in Staraya Russa; † 1. November 2016 in Petrozavodsk) was a soviet/Russian historian. He was 95 years old. His education included Saint Petersburg State Institute of History and Saint Petersburg State University. He worked at National Archive of the Republic of Karelia and Karjala. He received 4 awards, including Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class, Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad". He was buried at Soulazhgorskoe Cemetery.
