Biography of David J. Foulis

David J. Foulis (* 26. July 1930 in Hinsdale; † 3. April 2018 in Amherst) was an american mathematician known for his research on the algebraic foundations of quantum mechanics. He was 87 years old. His education included University of Miami and Tulane University of Louisiana. He worked at University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Florida, Lehigh University and Wayne State University. He was buried at Wildwood Cemetery.
