Biography of Dawid Ionowitsch Bronstein

David Bronstein (* 19. February 1924 in Bila Tserkva; † 5. December 2006 in Minsk) was a soviet chess grandmaster. He was 82 years old. He studied at Peter the Great Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University. His awards include Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR and Order of the Red Banner of Labour. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Čyžoŭskija Cemetery.
