Biography of Derek Walcott

Derek Walcott (* 23. January 1930 in Castries; † 17. March 2017 in Cap Estate) was a saint Lucian–Trinidadian poet and playwright. He was 87 years old. He had 3 wives. His education included University of the West Indies and University of London. He received 10 awards, including Nobel Prize in Literature, Guggenheim Fellowship.
