Biography of Doireann MacDermott

Doireann MacDermott (* 13. December 1923 in Dublin; † 13. November 2024) was an irish philologist, university professor, translator and writer. She was 100 years old. She was married to Ramón Carnicer Blanco. Her education included University of London, University of Geneva, University of Madrid and University of Barcelona. She worked at University of Barcelona and University of Zaragoza. She was awarded the City of Barcelona Award.
