Donald Dewar (* 21. August 1937 in Glasgow; † 11. October 2000 in Edinburgh) was a scottish politician, 1st First Minister of Scotland (in office from 1999 to 2000). He was 63 years old. He was married to Alison Mary McNair. His education included University of Glasgow, The Glasgow Academy and University of Glasgow School of Law. His cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage.
