Donald Woods (* 15. December 1933 in Hobeni; † 19. August 2001 in London) was a südafrikanischer Jurist und Journalist. He was 67 years old. His education included University of Cape Town and St Patrick’s Christian Brothers’ College, Kimberley. His awards include Commander of the Order of the British Empire, World Association of Newspapers' Golden Pen of Freedom Award and Conscience-in-Media Award. His cause of death was cancer.
