Biography of Dumitru Stăniloae

Dumitru Stăniloae (* 29. November 1903 in Vlădeni; † 4. October 1993 in Bucharest) was a rumänisch-orthodoxer Theologe. He was 89 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). His education included University of Bucharest and Chernivtsi University. He worked at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. His faith was Eastern Orthodoxy. His awards include Dr. Leopold Lucas Prize, honorary doctor of the University of Belgrade and doctor honoris causa from St. Sergius Institute. He was buried at Cernica monastery.
