Biography of Dymitr Samokwasow

Dymitr Samokwasow (* 15. May 1843 in Novgorod-Severskij County; † 5. August 1911 in Moscow) was a russian archaeologist. He was 68 years old. He studied at Imperial St. Petersburg University. He worked at University of Warsaw, Imperial Moscow University, Imperial University of Warsaw, Archives of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Empire and Lomonosov Moscow State University. He received 4 awards, including Order of the White Eagle, Order of Saint Stanislaus, 1st class. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
