Edgar Hynes Thompson (* 13. January 1910; † 9. April 1976) was a british photogrammetric surveyor. He was 66 years old. His education included Cheltenham College, Royal Military Academy, Woolwich and Downing College. He worked at British War Office, British Ordnance Survey, University College London and Hilger & Watts. He received 5 awards, including Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Patron’s Medal. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
