Édouard Fernand Jamont (* 19. July 1831 in Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu; † 17. October 1918 in boulevard de Montmorency) was a french general. He was 87 years old. His education included lycée Georges-Clemenceau, École polytechnique and École d'application de l'artillerie et du génie in Metz. He received 8 awards, including Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, Medal of Military Valour. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
